İbrahim Sırdaş YILDIZ
Originally from Kızıltepe, Mardin, Sırdaş was born in 1982 in Sivas, Turkey. Because of his father's job he and his family lived in many different Anatolian cities. While studying Maths at İnönü University in Malatya, he shot his first short movie and acted in over 20 theater plays. His first independent movie, the feature film Carton Ship, was shot in 2014. Shortly after he started to work as a video journalist, cameraman and editor for a number of television channels based in Middle East. He is currently working at the Istanbul branch of RAI, Italy's public broadcaster.
